JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR A “LAWYER” IN THE LEGAL DIVISION OF “ERDENES TAVANTOLGOI” JSC

Erdenes Tavantolgoi JSC is looking for a Lawyer in its Legal Division based in Ulaanbaatar.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

Review and negotiate a high volume of contracts (including but not limited to Sales and purchase agreements, NDAs, service agreements and vendor contracts) quickly and efficiently;

Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to the senior management regarding various corporate and business matters;

Assist in the preparation, review, and negotiation of documents for complex transactions

and coordinate with outside counsel as applicable;

Drafting legal documents, researching, and handling corporate transactions;

Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.) creating relations of trust;

Remain current on applicable laws, regulations, and practices affecting the company business;

Perform other duties as required by the company;

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Law or related field;

Minimum job experience of 5 years in the legal profession;

Strong verbal and writing skills in Mongolian and English;

Excellent communication and negotiation skills;

Experience with corporate finance and commercial transactions is desired

Certification to practice the Securities Market Law in Mongolia is desired
